Founded in 1997 and based in Livingston, Scotland, XCalibre Communications Ltd. aims to provide flexible and friendly Internet Solutions to businesses, resellers and individuals. XCalibre focuses on providing its customers with solutions that are both ‘fit for purpose’ and cost effective. We believe every customer has a unique requirement and, as such, we treat every customer individually.

XCalibre runs a completely autonomous network taking connectivity from multiple Tier 1 providers, so offering customers a reliable and economic service.
Additionally XCalibre peers with other providers, currently at Lonap and XChangepoint enabling rapid ‘handing off’ of traffic to its final destination and ensuring excellent connectivity at all times.
XCalibre History
Founded in 1997 by Pam Bryce and Tony Lucas XCalibre began operating as a partnership, providing a range of services including web site hosting, email management, domain name registration, web site and graphic design for both home and business users.
In December 1999 XCalibre Communications Ltd was formed and cash was injected in exchange for equity. Since then the company has extended its network and rationalized it product offerings to suit a business focused market.
The Management and Team
XCalibre is headed by Tony Lucas, CEO, who brings years of computer experience to the business. Tony is responsible for strategy and business development as well as the technical operation of the company. His ideas and creativeness have fueled the company’s expansion. His co-founder, Pam Bryce, COO, has extensive experience in management and company operations, she been instrumental in setting the company’s high standards for customer service & support. Pam runs the commercial arm, including the accounts, sales delivery & support departments.
XCalibre now employs 11 staff in sales, support and administration.
