| Web Wizards had a modest beginning. Back in 1993, a few friends and I got together and thought the Internet, and the World Wide Web specifically, was a great new tool for communication, marketing, and more. We learned and programmed in HTML and all these new languages, learned about this new Web stuff, and soon became "Wizards" on the web. In 1997, we noticed there were a lot of businesses starting to do a lot of web development work, and it was getting pretty popular. And there weren't a lot of good web hosting companies out there. So when a business associate asked me about how to get a web site started, I offered to do it for him. I took the opportunity to create my own web site as well, offering web sites to other people I knew. |
