When Parcom was established in the early 90s in the computer distribution industry, our goal was to provide our customers with the best possible service that meets or exceeds their expectations. And its not just service either. It is our commitment to a prosperous and long term business relationship with each and every customer.
Because Parcom takes care of customers through honesty and integrity, we will tell customers like it is whenever questions arise. We do not play games, or use sales tactics to win anyones business. In fact, our business thrives on thousands of new referrals per month! We take care of customers, and many customers take care of us by referring friends and family to us. Parcom does not do any mainstream advertising at all, in fact we do not need to. Our success is definitely related to our clients success this way! Getting a straight answer from a company like ours is not for everyone - if, however, it is right for you, then youre shopping at the right place! Our team is not afraid to tell you the truth or even tell you an honest no answer to questions. There are many more expensive providers that will give you the royal treatment but may lack true customer care in the long run! As a Parcom client you are part of our extended family here. Built on a 3-Tier Border, Core, and Access Layer Hierarchy, this network was designed to allow for problems to occur at any layer, without significantly affecting the other portions of the network. Full HSRP (Hot Standby Router Protocol) service allows for all our customers to be dual-homed to a standby router.
In our Data Center, we utilize a fully-switched topology, segmenting individual customers or shared servers into their own VLAN. This can assure you that your data is secure while within our backbone.

Our Network Operations Center, staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, is the core of our Network. Here, trained engineers monitor our Data Centers and Backbone and keep every facet of the data center running for our Server engineers.
Parcom is housed in downtown Seattles Westin Building, which is the most heavily wired building in the northwest part of the United States. Parcom is powered by multiple tier-one providers with a total of 9 direct, multi-homed connections to the Internet backbone. Parcom Internet Web Hosting currently has a total capacity of 3.8 Gigabits (3800 Mbps).
Where is the main Parcom data center? Right here: http://www.westinbuilding.com We will not specifically say exactly where in the building for security reasons, and we chose not to be listed as a tenant like many other customers in this very secure facility. However, rest assured we are in this building and so are many major players in the internet business. Tours are NOT available since the building no longer allows the general public to access any part of the facility at all. This is due to tighter security, and for other obvious good reasons that you are probably aware of in this day and age.

Our Founder, President, and CEO
David brings to Parcom more than 21 years of experience in the high-tech industry. Prior to starting Parcom, Dave has worked in the telecommunications industry at a company called Nextlink which was founded by Craig McCaw. Craig McCaw is a pioneer in the telecommunications industry who founded companies like Nextel as well as the joint venture company with Microsoft called Teledesic. At Nextlink (or now called XO.COM) was where Dave managed a vast and diverse information technology department for a region of states from Washington to Nevada. This prestigious position included managing every major facet of IT support for the company head quarters to networking support for one of the companys largest and important regions. Before this, David worked for two of the largest corporations in the world, Boeing and Microsoft, where he worked in areas of data center and corporate support plus many company impacting networking projects. And before all that, Dave was a business man in the international trade arena for both technology and general industry.
Now passing its 6th year of operation, Parcom is now heading for a new growth phase. Which is all part of Daves 20 year vision for Parcom. The last 6 years have been on target in terms of overall financial stability, which is rare in the high-tech industry today. If you do not speak up about your concerns or issues, we will assume all is well. Parcom relies heavily on customer feedback and exceptional communications. The few people that leave our services have their reasons ranging from failed business, lack of funds, or personal reasons... but sometimes there are those folks who never spoke up until the end. Parcom is very proud to have a very low turn over rate! Out of 1000 customers that sign up every month, less than 5 would cancel for any reason. This is exceptional to say the least. And yes, there are times that we do receive more than that amount of new sign ups in any given month!

Now, as of any business, there are times that a customers needs cannot be serviced by us. Thats ok. We will be honest with those customers and simply state that its time for them to move on. Intel - All Parcoms servers always have the best server processors manufactured by Intel. We do not use any other low priced processor vendor since we believe in the Intel line of chips 100\%. Compatibility, uptime, and reliability is crucial to Parcom.
Firewalls - Parcom is proud to use the Sonicwall and Netscreen series of Firewall solutions for the majority of our enterprise network.
