OpenBluHost.com merged with designz.info in 2003 to make web hosting simple for the novice and expert alike. Openbluhost servers are housed in the world class EV1 Datacenter in Houston, Texas.
The Datacenter features redundant UPS systems, generator backup, VESPA detection systems, closed circuit monitoring of all areas and entrances, card key access, 24 hour guard manned security, redundant a/c systems, and more.
The EV1 network consists of multiple connections to the main U.S. internet backbone utilizing eight different providers which maximizes uptime, reliability, and speed.
Free 24/7 Server Monitoring - We will monitor our servers 24/7 to make sure all customer data is secure and have staff on hand.
Redundant Power Supply - Reliability exceeds 99.998\%. The main electrical room provides clean, consistent power via switchgear, UPS systems, multiple feeds and generator backup to ensure a consistent supply of power to the facility.
Environment control - Consistent temperature and humidity ranges in the Data Center are maintained by redundant cooling systems
Dynamic Routing - We run the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP4) for best case routing. The BGP4 protocol is a standard that allows for the routing of packets of information sent out from our network. Each packet of information is evaluated and sent over the best route possible.
