Plant Telecommunications has been recognized for its hard work and dedication by receiving several awards. In 2001, the company was named the Georgia Family Business of the Year by the Cox Family Enterprise Center. In April of this year, they received the 2002 Cox Century Award. Winning businesses are chosen on the basis of their proven business success, positive family / business linkage, multi-generation family business involvement, contributions to industry and community, and innovative business practices and strategies. The Cox Century Award goes to a business that has been family owned and operated for more than 100 years.
