Patrick has been actively involved in the provision of Information Technology services since 1970. His career started in Toronto, Canada following the completion of his tertiary studies at the Ryerson Polytechnical Institute (now Ryerson University).
Since then, his career has evolved from Computer Programmer to Analyst/Programmer, Senior Analyst/Programmer, Systems Analyst, Planning and Support Manager, EDP Manager, Information Technology Manager and Senior Information Technology Consultant. This represents a solid IT background based on an extensive knowledge of principles and techniques in the development and management of Information Management and Information Technology. Over the years Patrick has attended a large number of seminars and courses in the theory and practical application of modern technologies that have complemented this working knowledge. In particular, Patrick has developed extensive knowledge in technologies related to Operating Systems, Data Communication and Networks, Relational Database concepts and applications, System Administration, Systems Standards and Security, and Project Development and Management aids and techniques. This also includes an interest in emerging technologies such as the Internet and its applications to business.
