Lakota Creations was formed in 1998 by Janet as an outlet for her creative talents in traditional Native American beadwork.
Over time, this grew into a separate site for dream catchers, along with a separate site targeting the Pagan and metaphysical market.
Eventually, Janet stumbled across the idea of doing a line of Pagan oriented greeting cards. This met with much success in a short time.
Along the way, Janet and Barry began doing small printing jobs for other people because they already had the printer on hand. This grew as well, and they now do printing for several companies and non-profit groups.
Barry, a professional network admin, decided that they could do their own web hosting for about the price they were already paying. He figured that if they already had a web server, there was no reason they couldn't add paying clients to that as well.
Finally, in late 2002, Janet and Barry decided to incorporate, and chose a name reflecting the direction their business was growing - something more Pagan oriented, yet changing every day. Thus, QuickSilver Dragon was born.
