Did you know that with normal e-mail services, your message contents are communicated between your computer and your mail server in an open, unencrypted fashion, so that anyone eavesdropping can read your e-mails? Unfortunatly very few web hosts address this vulnerability! You'll be glad to know that our servers are configured to support mail exchanges between your computer and our servers through SSL (Secure Socket Layering). This security feature is compatible with most popular e-mail clients such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Netscape Communicator, as well as others.
A More Secure Website (Secure server, SSH, Folder Protection)

If you need to collect sensitive data from your site visitors, you can take advantage of our secure server made available to all customers at no cost. The secure server uses a shared certificate which we renew every year for our customer web sites. When the secure server is used, a lock is shown on the visitors browser status bar. Customers also have the option of installing their own custom certificate.
Our webcontrol panel allows you to easily password protect any one of your web folders and/or maintain a list of users who have access to it. Furthermore, programmers will be glad to know we offer SSH for shell access (in addition to regular Telnet). |
