Know Technology was founded in 1998 by Steve Hand to provide small and medium business in New England and throughout the U.S with top quality Network/System Design and Security Services. By providing exceptional levels of service, the company continued to grow in leaps and bounds over the next few years.
In 2001, Know Technology expanded into Portland, ME with the addition of Tim Barthelman to the team. Tim's level of effort fit right in with Know's quickly expanding work. Patrick Jones was brought on board in 2003 to ensure there was an infrastructure to support the company's expansion. Know Technology has experienced sizeable growth during its history, doubling in size in the past two years. We recently relocated our Camden, ME office to a new space, so we could continue to expand our customer base and accomodate our growing numbers.
From 1998, when the company's primary focus was on networks and security, through the subsequent addition of hosting and development, we now offer a broad array of services. Over the last six years, the company has continued to add managed services to meet our clients' needs.
While other technology companies have come and gone, Know Technology has continued to grow at a steady rate. Weathering the recent changes in the technology industry has been a challenge, and we are proud to say that we have met each obstacle head-on.
