| Established in the heart of Montreal since 1998, iWeb was co-founded in October 1996 by Martin Leclair and Eric Chouinard. The two partners started working together remotely from their home basements in Boisbriand, on the north shore of Montreal and Beloeil, on the south shore of Montreal on a new business project called "Formation et Technologies Formatek". In 1997, in a move to make the development of its Web Hosting offers the priority, Formatek changed its name to iWeb Technologies Inc. and focused on providing quality Web Hosting services.
