Network Reliability & Environment
We achieve the highest-possible network uptime for our customers through multiple connections to Tier 1 Service Providers and redundant Cisco catalyst switches. Additionally, we use numerous climate control and filtration systems, iris scan entry, guard security, and redundant power systems, including a generator and battery backup.
Systems
We use only high-quality, name brand components in our data centers. Our redundant Cisco Arrowpoint content switches manage traffic to and from a large array of Sun Solaris servers that are NFS mounted to terabytes of Network Appliance data storage. If one server in the array happens to go offline or just drop a single packet, the Arrowpoint will resend the packet to the next server in the array ensuring that every request is served. We monitor our network and systems 24/7/365, and have implemented the latest automated technology to immediately correct any systemic problems. In other words, it would take a cataclysmic event for our Unix shared environment to go down.
