Originally, Kalliopi was in the software business! Back in 1996 we were selling mostly Borland Delphi Software tools. By offering our products through the web, we knew that we increased our market drastically from the traditional means of marketing / delivery.
The only problem was: Our ISP left something to be desired. They were unresponsive and difficult to work with. So we switched to a new company. And they were worse. So we switched again. Still nothing.
Finally we got to one of the largest, most successful Web Presence Providers in the world. With over 10,000 customers, their offer's looked very appealing. Again however, they were not there to serve me.
So finally, fed up with the whole process, we decided to get into the game and do hosting right! Out of this initiative we created fullservicehosting.com. Our primary objective was to create the kind of hosting business that we would want to work with. We host 15 of our own sites which means that we have a personal investment in the servers being up and running in tip-top shape. Cause if they're not - our business's suffer. |
