B.A. Port is a business owned by Dave Orme and Skip Pratt. Their backgrounds in software programming, internet and ecommerce development and management have given them over 40 years combined experience in the software, internet and infrastructure business.
Dave and Skip are also both internet marketers, offering software utilities and online services to their client base. Their experience in dealing with slow response and expensive hosting firms inspired them to start and operate B.A. Port.
Dave and Skip are backed up by some of the highest caliber and experienced telecom and data center engineering staff. Dave is the developer of the highly successful Instant line of software products, now found powering websites numbering in the thousands across the Internet.
His tools are aimed at do-it-yourself webmasters who do not want to take the time to learn complicated programming languages and methods. Daves focus on simplicity and ease of use is chronically focused on his target webmaster customer. Dave is a fanatic about making it easier for webmasters to build great websites easily and inexpensively.

Daves Career
With over 15 years in the I.T. industry Dave began his computing career as a COBOL mainframe programmer.
A member of the Internet community since early 1995 Daves area of expertise now lies with JavaScript, Perl and PHP programming integrated with MySQL and Postgres databases.
Dave who lives in the North West of England and has carried out programming and database work for companies such as British Gas, NorthWest Water, Autotrader and Nottingham University Medical School.
Daves Family Life
Married with two young daughters, Dave enjoys spending time with his children, exercising at his local gym and playing old 1980s arcade games of which his current favourite is Pac Man (all time high score 336,580).

About Skip
Skip has a successful career in the high tech industry first as an engineer and subsequently in sales and management.
He founded a successful tech consulting firm that grew to $8 million in revenues with 65 employees. He served as a Vice President at a public Fortune 500 company managing the electronic commerce department for their largest division. He has served as a Vice President of Business Development at a public software company.
Skip is the founder and owner of Knowledge Download, an ebook website software and services company, and is partners with Dave in the incredibly successful Instant Web Site Tools software business, which makes webmaster software utilities for do-it-yourself webmasters.
Skips Family Life
Skip and his wife live in a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona. They have three children, two of whom are in college and one who serves our country in the United States Army.
