AZC was established in 1994 as a scientific software consulting service in Thousand Oaks, California by a Stanford University engineering graduate and a RUCA (State University of Antwerpen,Belgium) business graduate. In early 1995 the founding partners switched the companys focus in order to get a foothold in the budding internet market. In July of that same year, AZC.com went online for the first time.
