Our data center is fastidiously tidy. Our servers are kept in a secure, static electricity controlled environment kept at a strict 65 degrees. Security
We dedicate a significant amount of time and resources to data center security. Our systems undergo rigorous security checks periodically. Our Network Operation Center (NOC) is locked and alarmed 24 hours a day. All personnel must pass both biometric palm scanners and produce valid pass cards to gain access. Housed in Phoenix, the data center is very unlikely to be affected by any natural disaster.
Backup Power Supply
In the unlikely case of a complete power failure, we have dual 700 HP turbocharged diesel back-up systems on both grids and available immediately in case of a total power failure. This system is designed to provide three plus days of backup power.

Overview
Our managed server plans provide you with an important group of proactive monitoring and maintenance tools. The plans protect your site by:
Detecting any abnormalities and immediately deploying systems administrators to locate and correct any problems.
Repairing and upgrading your equipment in the event of any failure, including installation and/or replacement of SCSI cards, ethernet cards, power supplies, CPU fan, hard drives, motherboards, processors, RAM and operating system. This service is in place 24/7/365 days a year.
Immediately rebooting your server with our priority emergency reboot service.
Immediate reboots take precedence on servers with one of the managed server plans.
In the event that you or one of our administrators notices the server running hot (i.e. CPU loads are above average) we will recognize and attempt to cease intruder attacks before your system or members area becomes compromised. *
Any client that does not have a systems administrator should utilize one of our managed server plans to ensure uptime and performance!

Packages also include server user maintenance, virtual host configuration and changes, new account setup (including IP binding, virtual host configuration, etc...). Statistics package setup, configuration and management are also covered under our managed server plans.
Additional Information
If you require any of the above managed services and have not purchased one of our managed server plans our hourly rates will apply.
We charge a rate of $75.00 per hour for all work in addition to our included services.
(*) Managed server fees do not include script writing, HTML design, or any other type of work that would fall into a web design category. This type of work is not done by us.
All servers include the following:
Security updates to Apache, SSH, PHP, Perl and FTP. Daily monitoring of services including connection, CPU, disk usage, HTTP. Required rebooting and file system checking due to server crashes or customer requests. Basic troubleshooting of monitored services to prevent web site availability issues. We will check why CPU usage is high, clear old logs or other non-necessary files when disk usage is high, check into a server process if it is not functioning correctly and troubleshoot network connectivity issues that deal with the server itself or our internal network.
We will also troubleshoot problems that are a direct result of any upgrade performed on the above listed software by the systems administration team. We will manage our DNS servers including additions and changes for all domains and servers on our network unless the customer is utilizing their own DNS server.
All services covered under the standard service provided by Get your Planet™ are dependent on the system administration team having access to each server. Any work required to gain access to a server due to removed administrator accounts, changed administrator passwords etc, will be billed at the normal rate if required.
* Please note: We will attempt to handle intruder attacks on behalf of your system, however, we in no way guarantee our ability to circumvent such occurrences.
