HostMySite.com Offers Beta 3

By Denise Richard - May 22nd, 2007

Recently, HostMySite.com, a web hosting company, publicized that it is offering a free trial for Beta 3 of Microsoft Internet Information Services 7, the Web server role in Windows Vista and the next version of Windows Server, code-named 'Longhorn.' IIS7 is a modular Web server, with integrated Microsoft .net extensibility for flexibility in extending and customizing the Web server. The modules are simple to build and incorporate into IIS7. Forty modules are included and can be replaced, removed, or new ones added since IIS7 is built on public Win32 and .net extensibility APIs.

"We are thrilled to help HostMySite.com offer its customers an easy-to-manage and reliable platform for both development and hosting of Web applications and services," said John Zanni, Director of Worldwide Hosting at Microsoft Corp. "HostMySite.com is consistently at the forefront of offering new Microsoft hosting technologies, and we are pleased to work with it as an early adopter once again."
