Recently, Dotster, Inc., an ICANN accredited domain registration and Web hosting company, has added cPanel/WHM software to its Virtual Private Server hosting services that are powered by Virtuozzo, which partitions physical servers into virtual private servers so that a VPS performs and executes just like a dedicated server. Each VPS is allocated a specific amount of CPU, memory, and disk space.
Dotster offers three cPanel VPS plans, all of which include unlimited domains, unlimited mailboxes, and unlimited MySQL databases. The plans run on the Linux CentOS operating system and support the PHP and Perl programming languages.
The standard cPanel plan begins at just $49.95/month with an annual contract and includes 10 GB of disk space, 256 MB of memory, 500 GB of bandwidth, and one dedicated IP address. The cPanel Pro plan begins at $59.95/month and includes 20 GB of disk space, 256 MB of memory, 1,000 GB of bandwidth, and two dedicated IP addresses. The cPanel Premium plan begins at $69.95/month and includes 50 GB of disk space, 512 MB of memory, 2,000 GB of bandwidth, and four dedicated IP addresses.
