AIT Offers Online Meeting Application

By Larry Anderson - November 5th, 2007

Newly, web hosting provider Advanced Internet Technologies (AIT.com) has released meeting bowl, a new collaboration application that enables users to host and attend online meetings, seminars, or classes.  Meeting bowl, which starts from $29.00 a month, enables users to deliver a live or recorded presentation with both audio and video. The application is being used to improve understanding in many situations, such as e-learning, e-tutoring and Web seminars.

Meeting bowl requires no installation and can be accessed from almost any computer with an Internet connection. The application includes a chat feature that enables attendees to send a question to the presenter without interrupting the meeting, a whiteboard for drawing and sharing ideas, the ability to share new data and edit content during the course of the presentation and automatic record for individuals who need to review or learn at their own pace.

Avery Skelton, VP of product development and senior manager of AIT, said: "Our customers asked for a solution that they could use or resell that would allow any size organization to conduct computer based training, hold meetings and collaborate. We're happy to say that we delivered all of that and more."
