Managed hosting and IT infrastructure provider Data393 (data393.com) has signed a multi-year agreement with IT compliance and security solutions provider Alert Logic (alertlogic.com) on October 29, 2007. Under the terms of the agreement, Data393 will offer customers Alert Logic Threat Manager, the company's on-demand solution for intrusion protection, vulnerability management and IT compliance automation.
Alert Logic says it enables managed hosting and service providers to provide customers with an advanced IT security solution that complements their existing offerings without any upfront capital, infrastructure or staff investments. Alert Logic's Threat Manager uses a software as a service delivery model to ensure that Data393 customers can rapidly deploy the service to their customers.
"Alert Logic's unique delivery method and streamlined security protections have made it simple for us to offer an additional critical layer of network security for our customers," said Chris Gross, chief technology officer for Data393. "This agreement builds on the strengths of Data393's already robust physical and software security choices. It is a firm validation of our commitment to offer customization, design flexibility and on-demand capabilities for customers of all types and sizes."
