On October 24, 2007, web hosting provider HostWorks (hostworks.com)  has won a multi-year contract to continue providing a range of Web services for the Colorado Lottery. The contract includes site design, development, managed Web hosting and hardware and software consulting. As part of the contract, HostWorks will provide a full redesign of the Colorado Lottery website.

"Since early 2001 when HostWorks became the web vendor for the Lottery, the site has grown tremendously in both traffic and complexity," said Ken Sabey, HostWorks account executive. "As we help the Colorado Lottery move into the next phase of growth HostWorks looks forward to providing a stable and secure platform for the Lottery to promote its Scratch, Lotto and Powerball games to loyal Colorado players."

HostWorks provides over 600 clients with managed Web hosting, Web applications development and site development services. The company recently introduced a content management system SiteWorks, enabling IT managers to independently add, delete, edit and enhance site content, photos, page additions and metadata from any computer with browser access.
