On October 15, 2007, IT infrastructure services provider SAVVIS (savvis.net) has been selected by hosted email and collaboration solutions provider Mail2World (mail2world.net) to host its network infrastructure at its Southern California data center.

Mail2World's network infrastructure will feature new Cisco routers and will be jointly managed with SAVVIS. The company hopes the new network will further differentiate it from competitors and the upgrade will help to reduce power consumption and data center space by consolidating it to a single platform.
