Anti-spam software provider Roaring Penguin Software (roaringpenguin.com) has newly released CanIt 4.0 that its enhancements are available through the complete CanIt antispam line including CanItSMB, CanItPRO and CanItDomainPRO.

CanIt 4.0 offers major improvements, including new clusteraware storage manager for storing quarantine information, automated database failover that eliminates a single point of failure and RESTbased API for automating CanIt actions, which is particularly useful for provisioning new clients and integrating CanIt with a control panel.

Other features include improved reporting, such as per domain statistics with graphics, support for automatic updates of rulesets and Bayesian data, better documentation with all manuals are accessible via Web interface and support for provisioning via SWsoft's Plesk control panel.
