Web Host OSO Builds NM Facility

By Coby Thornton - October 10th, 2007
New Mexico-based Web host and Internet service provider OSO Technologies (osogrande.com) announced on October 5, 2007 that it is opening a new 22,000 square foot data center in downtown Albuquerque. The company is investing more than $1 million to construct the facility in an existing building on the north side of the city and expects companies nationwide to collocate to the new data center.

According to reports, OSO is keeping the exact location of the data center confidential to better protect the infrastructure and sensitive business data that companies will store at the facility.

The company's VP of sales and marketing, Randy Asselin, said OSO decided to make the investment because collocation and disaster recovery services are currently in high demand and the company believes this will greatly expand its client base outside New Mexico.
