On October 1, 2007, web hosting provider ResellerClub (resellerclub.com) has made changes in its regular pricing structure for all its resellers. The new pricing changes can be attributed to the upcoming increase in the registry prices for almost all generic top-level domains, scheduled to take place in mid-October.
With the impending rise in prices for gTLDs, the company said that its resellers should encourage their own resellers and customers to renew their domains immediately at promotional prices through ResellerClub's currently running 'The Great Renewal Bash.'
"We wanted to make sure that our prices continue to remain amongst the lowest in the industry even after the price hike," claimed Bhavin Turakhia, ResellerClub CEO. "This is so that our resellers have an edge over their competitors despite an increase in the registry prices. At ResellerClub, our aim has always been to provide world-class products to our resellers at rock bottom prices. Our resellers, at all times, will continue to have the most economical product portfolio as compared to their competitors."
The new pricing structure features prices from $6.99, which the company said is only marginally higher than the old pricing. ResellerClub is running its Great Renewal Bash promotion through October 12, enabling resellers and their customers to renew all gTLDs from $6.29.
