Lately, data center operator and managed services provider Peak 10 (peak10.com) announced that it will host a live Web cast that will reveal the steps necessary for companies to effectively secure their systems and data from unauthorized online access.

Titled "Network Perimeter Security: Securing and Protecting Critical Information Online," Monty Blight, Peak 10's VP of managed services, and Ken Nelson, Peak 10's vice president and general manager will provide an overview for securing a company's system as well as cover managing firewall security, high availability, VPN security and content filtering along with examples of real-world deployments. The Web cast is scheduled for October 16 at 11:30 a.m. EST.
