Domain registrar and Web hosting provider Go Daddy (godaddy.com) announced on September 25, 2007 that it is now offering deluxe secure sockets layer certificates, enabling IT professionals to configure and work on computers remotely.
Go Daddy worked with Intel on the new certificates, which are offered in three assurance validation levels: standard, deluxe and the new premium with Extended Validation. All Go Daddy SSL certificates offer up to 256-bit encryption.
Warren Adelman, Go Daddy president and chief operating officer, claimed, "Whether you are down the hall or across the country, this innovative technology makes it much easier to setup and upgrade computers. We wanted to make sure Go Daddy's SSL was designed to work well with this service, so we could offer IT administrators an affordable product to keep their network secure."
