ScanAlert (scanalert.com), an internet security auditor, on September 6, 2007 has partnered with server automation and virtualization provider SWsoft (swsoft.com) to deliver Hacker Safe certification and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard validation services to Web hosting clients and their e-commerce merchants.

Under the agreement, ScanAlert will enable Web hosts using the SWsoft Plesk control panel to offer their customers complimentary services to validate PCI DSS compliance for merchants, as well as discounted services to certify them to the Hacker Safe standard.

Kurt Daniel, vice president of marketing and alliances of SWsoft, explained, "By partnering with SWsoft, ScanAlert can deliver greater security and peace of mind to Plesk-based service providers and their customers. ScanAlert's PCI DSS Service provides everything e-commerce merchants need to be validated to the PCI DSS standard, including, unlimited security scans, an interactive self-assessment questionnaire, and extensive online, telephone and email technical support.
