What is the most common mistake of web builders? I can tell that is making pages look too “busy” and paying too little attention to quality control. Broken links, spelling mistakes and bad grammar can, and should, be found and corrected prior to the site going live. There is no such thing as bad web design, only bad quality control.

It’s a BIG mistake to give short shift - or neglected completely to the quality control of content on Web sites and of the actual words on the pages. Apart from the overall layout of your pages, the words on the pages are the first impression you give your customers. Nothing says "amateur hour" as much as a site laden with misspellings and broken links.

Take the extra times to proof read your content and check all the links to make sure they work correctly. And also, do regular quality control checks which make sure that your site keeps performing well. It is a good way of safeguarding your investment in time and money in the website.
