The lifetime Hosting Plans offer from companies with the negatives associated
The companies that offer Lifetime Hosting sounds like a great money saver but still, I have to pay a set amount each and every month for my Hosting, some of the additional services cost extra prices. If I pay for $100 plus fee then they just shut their company down and I will never find that company again, what’s make me confuse about is, where are their incentive to perform each and every month from. The fact that almost all of their page is a sales page is make me realize that there’s nothing deeper than that sales page such as support page, FAQ page, etc. What every user really need is the thing like the support such as phone support to answer the call whenever they need it, the ticket system to solve the hosting problem, live chats that have a good responsive, and so on.
There’s a case who’s just happen recently, there’s a guy who bought a software product via the WWW using the Credit Card, then the software is never came, so then he disputed the charge. A month latter his Credit Card company sent an email saying that they have found in favor of merchant because the sale was an intangible product and that he supposed to know the risk before purchasing. So, that guy is having a bad time with the Hosting Company because he has lost his money more than $100 and there’s nobody will refund the money’s back to him.
So, the message is clear that, don’t ever buy a product where there is only a sales page which the sites don’t have the email address or a phone number, it’s like a trap that will attract you to do your business with them, especially when you do a whois lookup and the registrar comes up as private or a bogus name and info.
The company who’s offering Lifetime Hosting plans usually also offers great disk space and some of them even offered the unlimited bandwidth but there are two problems here, like when you need more space then that’s what they give you and how many sites out there in the world are using any decent amount of bandwidth. I’m wondering, if I have like 20 different sites and even though it is unfortunate but only 1 of them will ever exceed the use of more than 1 Gig of bandwidth, then what do I need unlimited bandwidth for?
